Steps to open a Personal Account:
- Visit BDO branch near you.
- Present the original copy of at-least two (2) valid ID's - Advise the officer in charge that you want to open a savings account. Fill out the application form. Make sure you double check all the information before you submit. You will also provide three (3) identical signature specimens.
- Prepare the minimum initial deposit.
- BDO ATM Savings account
- Maintaining balance – Php2,000/month
- Balance before earning interest – Php5,000
- Interest rate per annum – 0.25%
- Account closure within 30days – Php300
- Below minimum balance – Php300
- Withholding tax for interest earned – 20%
- BDO Passbook Savings account
- Maintaining balance – Php10,000/month
- Balance before earning interest – Php10,000
- Interest rate per annum – 0.25%
- Account closure within 30days – Php300
- Below minimum balance – Php300
- Withholding tax for interest earned – 20%
- Wait at least a day or 2 to have your account activated. You may claim you ATM or Passbook kit after 5-7 banking days. You may also ask the teller.
- That’s it! You now have the information on how you can open your BDO savings account. Once you have it, you can enroll your account in BDO online banking
